pet peeves

pet peeve– [noun] a particular and often continual annoyance annoyance

there aren't too many things that i just absolutely cannot stand, but there are a few things that piss me off.

one for starters is traffic. i hate it with a burning passion. especially when driving my stick shift, Big Blue aka Blue Rhino. the thing with traffic though, besides just pissing me off is that the very essence of it doesn't make sense. if everyone is going at the same speed (otherwise known as the speed limit) how does it all the sudden get backed up? yes i understand that along the way cars are joining the moving masses, but cars must also be leaving too. because unless your all going to some major sporting event or concert (although i'm more talking about like rush hour traffic or random traffic on a highway..don't even get me started on ski traffic or beach traffic) you don't all live in the exact same place. so why is no one moving? that is my unanswered question. it both annoys and disturbs me.

another pet peeve of mine is when people tell you that you're sunburned. its like telling someone the color of their eyes or that they have two arms...completely unnecessary. because let me tell you a secret--they know they're sunburned.

one that may strike you as odd is that i cant eat oreo cookies whole, i have to split them in half (while usually trying to get the middle all by itself). but that's not all, the real strange part is that i get the chills (think nails on a chalk board feeling) when seeing someone just take a bite out of an oreo whole. i have absolutely no idea why, but it really creeps me out.
