Thoughts of the day: by yours truly.
So i'm sitting here in the library trying to study...clearly going so well since im doing this haha. But as i've been here i have come to the conclusion that this whole concept of school is a joke. Think about it: back in the day you only had to graduate from the 8th grade to get a legitimate job. Slowly that got pushed up to 12th grade (aka you had to finish graduate high school). Next it became that you needed to get your bachelor's (go to another 4 years of school to 'specialize' in a particular area of study). And then some real big genius decided to tack on another 4 years of school and call it a masters. And what has our world have to show for this increase in schooling (not even taking into consideration if you complete all this you will have spent a quarter of your life in school)...minus new technologies, and other things that have "made our lives better/easier", we havent cured cancer or helped people live longer or stopped the global climate change or saved the rainforest or solved world hunger. So i ask...why all the school?
